We are pleased to announce that our parent company Base Logistics Group will soon be acquired by Staci Group, a leading fulfillment and logistics service provider from France. The acquisition offers us the opportunity to make intensive use of each other’s expertise and networks, making the service offerings to our customers even more attractive.
With this acquisition, Staci Group continues the expansion of its foothold in Europe and the United States (US). The takeover creates a company with an annual turnover of more than 450 million euros, of which 100 million euros will be contributed by Base Logistics Group. Staci is active in a wide variety of industries, including Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices & Healthcare, Automotive, Petroleum, Telecom, Retail, Hotels, Restaurants & Catering, Tourism, Food & Beverage, Bank & Insurance and the public sector. The newly formed group comprises a network of 60 warehouses in Europe and the United States, with a total surface area of approximately 660,000 m2 and 2,500 employees. In addition, the group has high-quality in-house developed software and digital solutions.
Base Logistics Group, including the companies Base Logistics, HealthLink and Special Logistic Services (SLS), will operate independently within Staci Group and will remain fully intact as an organization after the takeover. “In recent years we have created strong mutual synergy between the companies Base Logistics, HealthLink and SLS and we will continue to do so after the acquisition,” says Robin Voet, CEO of Base Logistics Group. The names of the Base Logistics Group companies will also remain unchanged.
For our customers, nothing will actually change after the acquisition. The core values of Staci, “Partnership”, “Commitment” and “Innovation” are perfectly in line with what we consider essential at Base Logictics and therefore for our customers. We are convinced that this development will enable us to offer our customers an even better service in the future and look forward to exploring the opportunities with our customers.”
